The classes for 2009-10 was inaugurated by Nagalakshmi on Sept. 16 2009 in Simi valley. The function was attended by 12 families and kids. In her address to parents and kids Nagalakshmi appreciated the efforts and interest of all the parents making their kids learn the Kannada language and culture. She also suggested to introduce the kids to our great poets and leaders of the past.
Mrs. Nagalaskhmi served as principal in Vidya Vardhaka Sangha High School of Bangalore before she took voluntary retired. She is currently visiting her her daughter Kumuda Saraf. She is well known among KCA members as teacher and also for others as she participated in couple of cultural events.
Valley Kannada Kali started the tradition of inauguration from the last year. Parents remembered the previous year's inauguration by well knows writer Prof. B.V. Veerabhadrappa.

Later Mythili Ramakrishna inaugurated the ValleyKannadaKali.com website. Since Wi-Fi connection was not available she used a iPhone to inaugurate the website. She recognized the long desire of the group to have a website. Mythili wrote a little introduction of history of Valley Kannada Kali for the website. Eventhough she has retired from actively teaching the regular classes, but happily extended her help and support. She appreciated and the efforts of the parents to keep the group active and advised parents to keep talking to their kids in Kannada.
